Fresh Music Aberdeen · Stoneywood
Lock into the groove. One-to-one bass lessons in Stoneywood, Aberdeen for beginners and experienced players, built around the music you love.
The bass is the link between the rhythm and the harmony in almost every style of music — and it is one of the most rewarding instruments to learn. Bass guitar lessons at Fresh Music Aberdeen are one-to-one, so every lesson is focused on your playing, your goals and the bass lines you want to learn.
With over 20 years of teaching experience and recognition as the best music school in Scotland two years running, Fresh helps bass players of every level develop solid timing, great feel and a real understanding of how bass lines work.
Whether it is funk, rock, indie, pop, metal or the latest chart music, lessons use songs you know and enjoy. Theory is taught as part of those songs, so you understand why a bass line works and can start writing your own.
The Fresh studio has amps, cables, studio microphones, an electric piano and an electric drum kit, so you can play along to real tracks and record what you have learned during lesson time. Recording your playing is one of the best ways to hear your progress and tighten your timing.
Lessons are available for adults, teenagers and children, from complete beginners to advanced players. Many guitarists also switch to or add bass — and lessons can cover both. Sessions run Monday to Thursday from 9am to 9pm, with weekly slots held for you.
