You Don’t Have To Be Young To Take Guitar Lessons

In my experience as a guitar teacher in Aberdeen I have had the privilege of working with so many talented, enthusiastic and competent musicians and they’ve haven’t all been young.

As we get older, it’s true, we tend not to retain information as much as our younger counter parts.  However, with the right teaching and approach to practice I’ve seen many older students learn complex songs and become great guitar players through their guitar lessons with Fresh.

In fact, at present, I teach more adults than I do children (18 and above).  I love working with this demographic because they’re helping me prove to others that anything is possible, at any age. 

I’ve got students who are recording their own, self-written songs.  I’ve got older students who are jamming out against blues tracks, playing great indie songs and rocking out to the classics.

I’ve got fingerstyle players who are learning to strum and rhythm guitar players learning to play with fingerstyle.
